'They're fantastic!' said the curly boy.
'I said so, didn’t I?' said the yellow duck.
'Fabulous!' said the curly boy.
'Yes!' said the yellow duck.

(Splashing.)

'I feel ten feet tall!' said the curly boy.
'Amazing, isn't it?' asked the yellow duck.
'As though I could jump to the moon!' said the curly boy.
'You can!' said the yellow duck.
'Really?' said the curly boy.
'Really,' said the yellow duck.

‘Thank you for the boots,’ said the curly boy, softly.

‘You’re welcome,’ said the yellow duck, quietly.

‘They make me feel special,’ said the curly boy, gently.

‘Oh, but…’ said the yellow duck, carefully.

‘What?’ asked the curly boy.
'You were already special.'
