'Sometimes life happens when you're looking the other way,' said the ponytail girl.
'You're going,
'and going,
'and then...
'the thing you've hoped for
'comes from nowhere.' 

(Pause.)

'Just when you're going one way,' said the ponytail girl,
'just as you've considered it,
'and mapped it,
'and measured it…
'the thing taps you on the shoulder
'and points in the opposite direction.'

(Pause.)
 
'And it fits so well you can’t believe it,' said the ponytail girl.
'You can't believe your heart and you don't know what to do...'
‘Go for it,' said the dishevelled little owl.
'Do you think I can?' asked the ponytail girl.
'Do you?' asked the dishevelled little owl.
'Yes,' said the ponytail girl. 'I do.'
