The snowman

'What do you want to be?' the first little owl asked the snowman.
'White,' said the snowman.
'You wouldn't be a snowman
'if you weren't white,' said the first little owl.
'I know,' said the snowman.
'It suits you,' said the first little owl.

(Pause.)

'What do you want to be?' the first little owl asked the snowman.
'Round,' the snowman said.
'Because round is soft. 
'Good for cuddling.'
'That's true,' said the first little owl.
'I know,' said the snowman. 

(Pause.)

'What else do you want to be?' the first little owl asked the snowman.
'Cold,' the snowman said. 'I want to be cold.'
'Good choice!' said the first little owl. 'That's a very good choice!'
'What do YOU want to be?' the dishevelled little owl asked the first little owl.
'I want to be wise,' said the first little owl.
'Like the snowman.'
