An Excellent Hat

A tiny yellow duck meets a red fox wearing a black fedora with a red hat band—and wonders whether he might match the polka dot boots he likes to wear with a hat of his own. His quest takes him to a tiny hat store specialising in tiny hats for tiny animals. The tiny hat store owner fits the yellow duck with a tiny, polka-dotted bowler hat—to match his boots—then adds a yellow hat band—to match his feathers. So dressed, the yellow duck turns heads wherever he goes and everywhere, tiny creatures decide that they too, must do tiny hats. When the yellow duck presents himself to the red fox, the fox is gobsmacked.

He decides he must have boots to match his hat.
