Brave chicken

'You're a chicken,' said the dishevelled little owl.
'I'm not,' said the chicken.
'You really are,' said the dishevelled little owl.
'Stop it,' said the chicken.
'It's true,' said the dishevelled little owl.
'No, it's not,' said the chicken.

(Pause.)

'Why are you calling me names?' asked the chicken.
'I'm not,' said the dishevelled little owl.
'You just did,' said the chicken.
'I wouldn't,' said the dishevelled little owl.
'You did,' said the chicken.
The dishevelled little owl sighed.

(Pause.)

'You're a chicken...' said the dishevelled little owl.
'Hm,' said the chicken. 
'AND you’re brave,' said the dishevelled little owl.
'Yes,' said the chicken.
'You're brave AND you’re a chicken,' said the dishevelled little owl. 'Both at the same time.'
'Too right,' said the chicken.
