'It’s a tree,' said the dishevelled little owl. ‘Just a tree.
'Don't be frightened of it.'

(Pause.)

'What WAS that?' said the brown-haired girl. ‘That sound!’
'It’s the wind,' said the dishevelled little owl. ‘The wind in the leaves.
'Don't be frightened of it.'

(Pause.)

'Oh! What IS that?' said the brown-haired girl. ‘All that blue. Up there!’
'It’s the sky,' said the dishevelled little owl. ‘It's a beautiful day.
'Don't be frightened of it.'
