'I thought I was alone,' said the small boy.
'I thought I was alone,' said the small boy.
'I know,' said the small girl.
'I didn't think anyone knew where I was going or where I'd been,' said the small boy.
'I know,' said the small girl.
'I was scared,' said the small boy. 'I'm always scared.'
'Don't be scared,' said the small girl.
(Pause.)
'Feel my hand?' asked the small girl.
'Yep,' said the small boy.
'See the way, up ahead?' asked the small girl.
'Yep,' said the small boy.
'That's where we're going,' said the small girl.
'Yep,' said the small boy.
(Pause.)
'Nice and slow,' said the small girl.
'Ok,' whispered the small boy.
'One step at a time,' said the first little owl.
'Ok,' whispered the small boy.
'One step...' said the yellow duck.
'Then another step,' said the small boy.
(Pause.)
'You've got this,' said the dishevelled little owl.
