Our Inner Voices – Reflections on COVID-19, the new book from boutique Brisbane publisher, AndAlso Books, creatively documented the biggest story of 2020. I was touched the AndAlso team saw fit to include The Rise of the Introvert in these special reflections on the social and cultural dimensions of the pandemic – creative essays, personal memoirs, poetry, and imaginative short stories from more than 50 Australian writers. Pulling together work from so many sources, then co-ordinating suppliers and marketing is no mean feat at the best of times. AndAlso Books did it smoothly and quickly – in the middle of a pandemic, no less. The team guided the book into Brisbane's best bookshops including Avid Reader Bookshop, Books@Stones, Dymocks Indooroopilly, Folio Books, Mary Ryan's New Farm, Mary Ryan's Books, Music & Coffee, Museum of Brisbane, qagoma store, the Queensland Museum, Riverbend Books, and the State Library of Queensland.
