The full house

December 27, 2016
This disheveled little owl lost her senses on Boxing Day and flew across Victoria Bridge and into the city where everywhere, there were people queued at store entries and at counters with shopping bags bunched over their arms as they bought more (and more) STUFF. So, today, the little owl threw open her cupboards and took HER excess stuff to Lifeline. And then she went to see a movie to celebrate (and arrived just on time.) "Rosalie Blum, please," she told the handsome young man behind the counter. He looked at her in alarm and said, "Oh, I'm so sorry! It's sold out." "Oh," she said, disappointed. "I'm so, so sorry!" said the handsome young man, (who seemed quite distraught by the whole affair.) "It's not your fault," she said. The handsome young man looked at her. "Why don't you stay and see A United Kingdom?" he asked. "Is it good?" she asked. "Very good," he said. And so she stayed, and it was, and later she will read a little more about Prince Seretse Khama of Botswana, because his story moved her so very much.
